Trek to teach

You can combine trekking and teaching for an immersion experience.

Instead of teaching in Kathmandu or Chitwan, you will be missioned to teach in one of the school part of the School2School project. You will trek there, experiencing our beautiful landscapes and wild tracks that will get you to a very remote area where a sister-school relationship allowed a school to thrive and provide the local children with decent education.

During your stay in this isolated community you will be provided with the local experience of staying in a village family willing to host a Nawa Asha volunteer for a time up to 2 months. You will walk from your host family house to the local school every day to teach, and be integrated by the community just like a local.

As for the teaching program, you will be required to provide a criminal record or strong recommendations.

As for the trekking program, you will be granted a fair price from your experienced travel guide and your host family, both willing to make their share into social justice support in Nepal.
